Babel (because I can't stop posting about it) - 5 stars, so good & complex and talks about so many important things that are so relevant to our current situation although the book is set in 1830s Oxford. I'm so impressed with the author for how well she delivers vital messages among the adventure.

The message of this book gets buried in action flick nonsense and is hard to truly relate to because the main character is so unlikeable (mainly because the primary concept of the book MAKES him that way) -- a losing battle from start to finish. Still fun though, I suppose! 2.75/5
