I bought an avocado yesterday. I’m a master at predicting markets!

This is the setup where he’ll reverse course (drink!) and then claim his bullshit was the reason the markets rally.
Oh so this was the red wave y’all were talking about

When has claiming that protesters are paid shills ever worked? What is the point of this strategy? They can’t possibly think this convinces people to stop showing up.

I find politicians starting every response in an interview with, “Look, …” so condescending. They all do it. Your thoughts are not that eye opening.

If a Russian news agency did this on Biden’s watch, the right would be absolutely apoplectic.
How would a random Russian news agency reporter sneak into the White House?

Since my feed is 95% food takes, here’s one. Jar spaghetti sauce is the laziest shit ever invented and most of it is trash. There isn’t very many things easier to cook than pasta sauce, and people think it’s gourmet when you make it from scratch.

The last sentence in this quote is saying the quiet parts out loud. It’s all about “victories over the left”, not about making life better or more affordable for average Americans

I don’t know if it’s just my algo (or why), or if Bluesky is the new Pinterest, but my timeline is a stream of what people are eating/drinking/cooking.

“Fraud, waste and abuse” has become the cult’s new “Hillary’s email server” or “Hunter’s laptop”. It’s always some made up boogeyman to keep the kool-aid flowing.

I can't help but take away a couple of big positives from WSU's loss to Gonzaga.

1. The offense was pretty damn good, despite the turnovers.
2. Reinforcements are on the way for the home rematch in February.

That and more in today's newsletter:

WSU can't keep up with Gonzaga in the 2nd half
After a close first half, the Bulldogs rolled over WSU in the second.

I mostly echo this. Arbuckle has a lot of upside. He’s a young coach and coordinator that is still learning. He overthinks things, a lot. Schmedding, on the other hand, needs “ good luck in his future endeavors”… like yesterday. No creativity or adjustments, ever.
I think Dickert needs to get better at hiring coordinators.
Alright, Jeff. I need you to be the level-headed analyst here: should I be terrified that once we lose our ability to “out athlete” our opponents, is Dickert cooked?
