I just listened to a very popular radio show say that we need to bring back spanking and maybe kids would be better behaved and it would keep people out of prison and OK sure but crime was higher when spanking was a norm.

Again the correct answer is to act like none of this has the force of law BECAUSE IT DOESN’T. He is just doing things and people are complying, but these things aren’t being done within the rules! Any member of Congress can simply declare that none of this is real at any time, and they’d be right!

This is so embarrassing because Congress never lost the power to set tariff rates. Even writing up this legislation pretends that this is Constitutional when the first enumerated power of Congress is impost and tariff rates. It’s like writing a bill that says only Congress can pass laws 😭
