This is a line from the Hobbit film, but still very much worth sharing as work inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien.

US immigration is manipulating Google to create a mirage of mass deportations.

Top searches bring up thousands of decades old enforcement actions, all updated with a timestamp from after Trump’s inauguration.

Creating fear.

It is malicious and on purpose.

Who do you think the felon/GOP/oligarchs are ILLEGALLY terminating from our government, military, U.S. aid, scientific agencies, education etc.? It’s women, people of color, LGBTQ+, & working class Americans! This layoff payoff chaos is a SCAM to funnel USA riches & resources to felon/GOP/oligarchs!

Republicans have introduced a bill to abolish OSHA.

As a former labor secretary, I know firsthand how crucial this agency is to protecting workers from bosses who cut corners on safety to pad their own pockets.

This is the party of corporate greed, not the party of workers.

Senator Andy Kim just went to the USAID building, talked to the security guard there to confirm employees are being barred entry, and then did a press gaggle right there in front to call it out.

This is doing something. This is making an effort on messaging. Other Democratic lawmakers: take notes.

Reminder: Tariffs aren't paid by other countries.

They're eventually paid by us at the check out line.

The tariffs Trump is unleashing tomorrow on Mexico, Canada, and China — our biggest trading partners — are estimated to cost households an extra $1,250 annually.

I honestly believe our most powerful position in a toxic time that feeds on cynicism, apathy,& despair is to genuinely care and act for a better world.

Cynicism is our enemy. We should check it, incl. on the left. It’s not intellectually superior. It’s the virus they’re trying to infect us with. NO

If I may, the press: Do not write "Trump blamed DEI." Spell out what he's saying. "Trump blamed women, black people, and other minorities for the mid-air collision." Follow that up with: "He did not specify which black people or women."
