Headed to the Central Library for day two of #SDCC to listen to the Comic Con Educators and Librarian panels.

I had never heard of these charming lil magpies before so of course I had to look them up. Please look at these little beauties! I love the silver color of their wings.
Standing atop a mound of mixed nuts there is a ghost magpie on the left and a black billed magpie on the right. The ghost magpie has a cream colored body with ethereal light silver wings, and a slightly darker gray face and legs which turn into a dark gray on their legs and beak. The Black billed magpie has a stark white and black body with black legs, face and beak but has a gorgeous sapphire blue streak on their wings and tail.

I know that trying to make wooly mammoths isn't necessarily a good thing, but OMG THESE WOOLY MICE ARE SO TINY AND FLOOFY I JUST WANT TO HOLD ONE. (Added a screenshot and alt text on the link image in case the Guardian doesn't have Alt text on their photo.)

I went on a clothing dye binge last Friday to help make some new clothes more interesting and breathe life back into some older pieces that were getting dull or were stained. I'm especially proud of how this dress turned out. You couldn't even see the flowers before I dyed it.
Seraphina has her brown curly hair down and is smiling at the camera while wearing her glasses, showing off the upper half of a new dress she successfully dyed a light pink with darker pink flower motifs.
