As it turns out one of my older coworkers used to play 2.5e and 3e and he’s been bringing in lots of older modules and books to show me. He’s even got the very first novel of when Strahd made his first appearance and he’s willing to lend it to me!

Twitter promoted a lot of toxic unhealthy traits in the pursuit for clout thanks to its awful algorithm.
Here, those toxic fucks don't have an algorithm to push their bullshit. This is a huge chance for us.

Honestly it’s a great feeling when I write a detailed background of my character including a handful of NPCs connected to my character, hand it over to my DM and then he asks the rest of the group to do the same next session.
I love creative collaboration, seems my DM does too.

Something I think about a lot is how the natural flora and fauna in the plane of fire is immune to fire so everyone who lives there is forced to eat everything raw. Even if you wanted to import meat from other planes of existence how would you keep it from turning to ash immediately?
