Three weeks after giving birth, Emily Perry became critically ill with sepsis - a condition responsible for 9% of maternal deaths in the UK. What she assumed was post-natal exhaustion quickly escalated into a life-threatening emergency.

How can the diagnosis of sepsis become faster, more accurate, more reliable?
