A reminder, the GOP can re-open the government anytime they want to. They just have to change Senate rules on appropriations votes, something they did on confirmation votes just about a month ago.
They are choosing not to do so, and choosing to keep the Government closed.

Just think, all these people cheering on the military occupation of American cities are the same people that would tell you that the use of federal resources to enforce the Civil Rights and Voting Rights Acts was illegal.
