War Stories is a gem, I don't think we ever felt as tense during any other Choose-your-own-Adventure game. You're constantly doubting NPCs intentions and your own decisions, because one wrong move could be fatal.

War Stories is a gem, I don't think we ever felt as tense during any other Choose-your-own-Adventure game. You're constantly doubting NPCs intentions and your own decisions, because one wrong move could be fatal.

Yotei is such a nice town builder with lovely wooden components. The currency is potatoes and there's hidden bidding with wooden boxes. Four paws up from Colin because there is a polar bear on one of the player screens!! #BoardGameBear

We just played a six round game of Koi-Koi and we might be a bit obsessed.
We started out laughing at all the terms in the rules but we got into it after one round. This push-your-luck game lets you sit with your overconfident decision for rounds, hoping your opponent doesn't get lucky.

Even though we logged 40 plays, it's probably our 'worst' October in years. During Spiel we played less than normal as our hotel didn't have a lobby.
Best new games were Sardegna, 3 Witches, Dino Dynasty and A Wild Venture. All smaller games surprised us with their choices and depth. #bgstats

(In German the word "überreich" is becoming more common to describe this.)
