Yeah, doesn't surprise me in the slightest. I am incredibly thankful for this glowing fandom, and how diverse everyone in it can be. I will personally always file through Tax Badger as long as I'm able to! They have sane rates and are super easy to work with!

I have not heard of them, but Free is good! Especially for something that is still as simple as a W-2 or whatnot.

Further adding: Tax badger can only prepare forms based on what info they are given, and how well organized that info is.
As for their brief disappearance, that was a mess of its own totally unrelated which involved a flop in attempt to merge with a larger tax prep company, costing them ~2 years.

I am honestly not sure about that whole situation, but I have not had anything but great results with filing through Laguna since 2020!
I know Laguna would never intentionally mislead anyone. I believe that situation was audit-related, which could be at the fault of their own provided preparations.

$20-30 isn't all that bad! I am unaware of how things are in Canada. But if the previously mentioned companies are over there too, then it's certain they're lobbying for the same over there as well.

Also, massive shame on the govt for accepting bribes and payouts by these businesses... Remember that they're never here for you. They're here for what you can do for them.

A lot of my focus has been with getting my sticker upgrades in place so I can reopen for those, but I am trying to have them done soon!
I'll try to squeeze more time in this weekend to tinker with those :D The settings are almost there. Pricing yet to be determined with limited availability.
