MSNBC is rebranding into MS NOW (acronym My Source for News, Opinions and the World) and looking at that god-awful new logo I want to make clear that the nation of Austria does not claim this
a side by side comparison of the old MSNBC logo and the new MS NOW logo. to the left, the old one is a stylised peacock tail with 6 feathers spread out. one of the middle ones has a mouth-shaped cutout. beneath it there's text saying MSNBC. to the right, the new one sports a stylised flag shape. within this shape is a smaller flag shape depicting a red-white-red striped flag - presumably meant to represent the stripes of the USA flag, but actually the national flag of Austria, and in a darker shade of Latvia.
