Finally got batteries for this thing, it works!
It's pretty advanced for an LCD game, there's a whole dungeon with items that spawn in random locations. I found a laser sword, killed a monster with it and then wandered around until I ran out of oxygen.

Cute little RPG, though random encounters can get pretty frustrating over time. Also, have you heard there is a Robber in the woods? I'm really worried about the Robber, so I have hidden all my valuables. The Robber managed to sneak into the Castle and steal the Earth Orb.

OK the *GitHub* page makes clear what versions of Windows they are aiming for compatability with. It's a cool project but in no way shape or form is it a Modern Windows replacement, and it's pretty embarassing the website obfuscates that fact.

There is very little information about this thing on the internet, at least from what I can find. I'm honestly not even sure it officially released outside of Japan?

found this cool LCD game at Goodwill
searching for information about it online it seems to actually be quite rare? so it's a great find for $4 but unfortunately I do not have the kind of batteries I need to test it. I'll update y'all if I get it working.

It was originally meant to be a Wii U exclusive, before being delayed so it could launch on all platforms after Zombi U failed to meet sales expectations. It's a solid game, definitely a step up from Rayman Origins.

I haven't seen anyone lay it out like this yet, so here's an in detail example where Jesse Singal violated ToS and BlueSky's Public response where they said "actually that doesn't count and also we're updating ToS anyway"

I bought Unfair Flips this morning and decided to see if I could get an ending before I had to leave for work and I managed to do it in less than 30 minutes.
I later realized I would be 11 on the current speedrunning leaderboard if I had recorded it properly.

I was intrigued by this anecdote and decided I wanted to learn more, but quickly found I could not find ANY information about this supposed cancelled RPG related to Sonic 06. So I eventually gave up and just started searching for any related cancelled games at all. Then I found Fifth Phantom Saga.
