I made it to Blue Bird Bistro on the Westside. Tucked inside a century-old brick building, it’s one of those KC gems that feels both rooted and fresh. Dinner was fantastic (great company helps), and I hear their brunch is the real star — organic, locally sourced, and already on my return list.
