The Missing Pieces really adds a lot in terms of context for The Return and Twin Peaks feeling in general.

I'm jealous! Watching Twin Peaks for the first time is a unique experience.
Despite being a Lynch fan, I never really gave it a chance for a long time, because I've heard season 2 was bad. Only after season 3 came out, we watched it all the way through. And yes: season 2 is definitely entertaining.
