I didn't get into it. Turned into an anthology, with whole new setting and characters. Setting was a Japanese internment camp, so had a seldom-seen perspective, but should have been its own show, not branded "The Terror" for no reason except marketing.

His accent died before Mina did. Also if you like this sort of thing and haven't yet, The Terror (first season) should be right up your alley.

There's a whole section in the TOS that explicitly explains that "customer content", ie the stuff customers make (audio, video, etc) are EXCLUDED from the "service generated data" that it collects. So no they won't be using our faces or private conversations.
