What I can't get over is that they're bending the knee to this guy. Like, this fucking guy specifically. Not a military genius like Caesar or Napoleon or a psychopathic god like Hitler or Mao but this fucking rube. I don't understand how democracy can work in this country if this is all it takes.

We're witnessing the most aggressive, fanatical crackdown on free speech in my lifetime. The speed and breadth of government censorship and private sector and nonprofit capitulation has been astonishing. As has the lack of urgency/silence from people who've long claimed to care about this stuff.

insane to me that anyone can watch a video of ICE goons tearing someone apart from their family and then go on national television and say we're focused on the crime. The crime is the disappearance of our neighbors. If you can't confront this go ahead and resign, you are now an obstacle to justice.

My sincerest compliments to @colewehrle.bsky.social and @leder.games on ARCS. We just finished our second campaign, and it remained so competitive into the final chapter that it came down to whichever faction could control First Regent would win. Just a masterpiece of game balancing.
