Opprobium!! The word I was looking for was opprobium!
Because opprobiators love to opprobiate, but if they take it too far they can become reprobates.
Oh, man. That bugged me WAY too much.

I think what I love most about this is that you're going straight to a product release. Don't get me wrong, Kickstarter has its place, but the shorter the distance between paying for a product and getting a product, the better.

That's a good one! But still not it aarrrgh.
This is bugging me so much because I came up with a really good pun using this word awhile back but now I can't remember it for the life of me.

It's got more syllables than that! Three or four, I think.

It really does! I love how it binds boss fights to leveling up (the perfect milestone!); I love how evocative the setting is -
And, honestly. I love that this could very easily be Deadlands without the unfortunate Lost Cause baggage.

Colossus of the Drylands is my favourite campaign frame by far and the inspiration for me to try my hand at a little gamedev of my own.
I love that you're keeping the momentum going, and I love the tease for this release!

The Intrepid Heroes have gotten into a tradition of dressing up for the season finale, and there's been a running joke for a few seasons now that they're always shooting on Christmas Day instead of spending time with family. This would be those two bits colliding.

I absolutely hear you on the "need more social adversaries" front. This is some good stuff!

They're definitely one of the features of Daggerheart that grabbed my attention HARD. I'm looking at writing up a few for my next release.

Ooh, are those the environments from the Void? Because that heist one looks AMAZING. I really hope my players want to steal something at some point!

I'm currently experimenting with some NPCs and a handful of consequence countdowns. The PCs won't know what the countdowns lead to (and neither do I!), but they'll know when they tick down.
I'm also encouraging them to drive the plot with their own goals. So far, so good.

It's okay to just say you don't like something. You don't need to use neurodivergence (especially something as diverse as ASD) as an excuse.

I was trying to give you an alternative POV, but hey go off king.
FYI: you're not the only person with ASD out here.

It is quite vibes based, but it's far from the first game to do it. I also encourage my players not to think in terms of action and narrative but rather explosive and slow burn. Stepping outside of formal initiative structure is spooky but ultimately (I feel) leads to a far better experience.

Short version: spotlights follow the dice, and focus on players first. When a player picks up the dice, they're in the spotlight. If they roll anything other than a success with Hope, it's the GM's turn. If they roll that success with Hope, whoever grabs dice next gets spotlit.

I hear you on the ND front! It's something that could be made more clear (as always), but in running the game I've found the dice themselves tell you what happens with the spotlight.

Currently running a game, currently also putting out some third party material.
From the GM side: running it is a DREAM. The rules are clear and concise, everyone's having massive fun. Very definitely cool.

The plan at this stage is to release a whole bunch of smaller supplements, then stitch them into one Glorious Compendium.
We'll see how it goes!
