Ukrainians endure daily attacks from Russia.

Russia is a terrorist state and a war criminal.

Got 4/4 correct. Next year I don’t think I’ll get half that number.

There might be an opportunity for Apple/Google to allow users to prove a photo wasn't generated by AI. By cryptographically signing photographs and their metadata, using the phones Secure Enclave, marking them as non-AI generated (sure it could be hacked, but not in most cases).
Nano Banana Pro also seems to be good at moving the camera when recreating images, which can add a false sense of authenticity to sets of images, for example:

There’s some genuine innovation here, prior to this I think Signals “Private contact discovery” using SGX was state of the art. This doc makes a big leap for to prevent enumeration attacks. I feel smarter for having read it.

Well done @pfrazee.com, Ian & @retr0.id
"Find friends by phone" is a common tool in social networks. We're proposing a secure scheme and requesting comments from the dev community.

Goals:
・Double opt-in: you're not findable by your phone unless YOU use the tool
・Secure to enumeration attacks
・Resistant to decryption if compromised
Request For Comments: A secure contact import scheme for social networks | Bluesky
This article outlines plans for a future Bluesky feature \- it doesn’t exist yet\! By sharing our ideas early, we hope to solicit feedback from the community.

When I see the war raging on & doubts begin to creep in, I think of Oleksandr Matsievskyi, the resolve in his eyes & his final, fearless words “Slava Ukraini.”

Over the past three years, I have seen his spirit in Ukrainians, their courage, resilience, & unwavering will.

@naomiohreally.bsky.social has this been a question put to European and Irish politicians?
It actually is mind blowing to check out X and see what is essentially 4chan which is also populated with politicians, media figures, "thought leaders" etc.

A dystopian horror, really. Where neo-Nazis now have equal standing with mainstream leaders. There is a reason Fuentes is now so mainstreamed.
The authoritarian takeover of X was a harbinger of the regime’s strategy for America at large.

Bluesky is a perfectly adequate refuge for X exiles. The biggest problem with Bluesky is that so many political and media elites are still on X. That’s not Bluesky’s fault—it reflects poorly on the elite.

I would have though that AI dubbing would have made more progress because of the potential money unlock. It unlocks movies and TV for other markets, making back catalogs more valuable and creating entirely new markets.

The amount of scraping by AI companies right now is insane. My tiny little hobby project sites getting between 1m and 500k requests a day.

Funnily tens of thousands of those visits are seen as unique visitors, good enough to fool advertisers…

worth double checking your ad-spend billing!
