even then, once you're interacting with Discord's API, isn't it fairly straightforward to just add a method to do other things for particular roles? assuming no frontend is written for any of this

This. We can either think strategically or we can keep getting stepped on. They have a majority at the moment and refusing to deal with McCarthy is just going to get us someone who is less willing to reach across the aisle.

I'm surprised. I'm in NYC so there are some decent options here (emphasis on some) but none of them AFAIK are behind CGNAT. Mostly the question you want to ask is about IPv6 support.

I was unaware of this, but this might just be an "I'm an American" phenomenon. It makes perfect sense. In the cases you're referring to, how far down the roadmap is IPv6 deployment?

Interesting. In practice, I'd suspect it wouldn't much matter, as 50 account delete requests/min originating from a small ISP seems unusually high, and a legitimate request would go through a minute after failing. But yes, this could theoretically be an issue in the case of CGNAT.
