I can’t imagine anyone but Ted Sarandos and David Zaslav are happy about Netflix acquiring Warner Bros. No matter how you slice it, acquisitions like this are bad for everyone except top level executives and company shareholders. Bleak day for the film industry

As Netflix confirms plans to buy Warner Bros. for $82.7 billion, the streaming service has said it expects shorter theatrical runs for movies in future "to meet the audience where they are, quicker." https://bit.ly/3XCvY8M

Chelsea FC were asleep in the dressing room while Charity FC took the pitch against Leeds. Embarrassing performance so far, some half time changes and a big talking to are needed from Maresca if Chelsea want to salvage this horrible situation

LAFC should have never let that get match go to penalties, but I never want to see Marco Delgado take a penalty shot ever again. Well played to Vancouver

That Son Heung-Min goal is one of the best I’ve ever seen live. LAFC brought back from the brink by an incredible goal from a world class talent. I am so glad he left Tottenham so I can finally love him as a player. LAFC is going to win this!

That might be the worst half of football I’ve ever seen LAFC play. A major tactical change is needed from Cherundolo in the 2nd, because Bouanga and Son are ghosts and Vancouver is creating overloads literally everywhere on the pitch

New DP work for the NFL is up on their YouTube channel 🏈🎥💯 so dope filming with Kendrick Bourne of the San Francisco 49ers and Georainbolt on this episode of Race to the Endzone, a good time was had by all!

Double duty on today’s shoot… photo+video coverage of an athletics event on a pair of Sonys (📸 a7 IV 🎥 a7s III). I don’t love doing both simultaneously but that’s what clients need sometimes! 😅

Couldn’t have asked for a better day to shoot portraits in the city. Beautiful warm weather, nice bright sunlight, and a nearby Latino music festival for entertainment ☀️🌳🌇

At Evo 2025, directing on content for Evo x Chipotle. There are thousands of players of all ages duking it out across LVCC. Players who washed out of pools on day 1 continue to compete in the lobby's food court. The electricity in the air is unmistakable. I love FGC! I should make a film about it...

It’s been a week and I’m still thinking about Superman. I think the kindness, good nature, and light humor that James Gunn brings to the film carries a lot more weight than I originally thought it would. When I came out of the theater I was like… that was pretty cool! Now I’m like… was that amazing?

Denis Bouanga is a legit MLS superstar. So exciting, so dynamic, so dangerous dashing at goal. I love El Trafico, VAMOS LAFC 🖤💛

Wish I could say I was surprised by that Chelsea result! Arsenal were average but Chelsea were woeful. Toothless in attack, no creativity or optimism. One shot on goal all game says it all

You wouldn’t believe how much of my inner monologue is just movie scenes and character dialogue

Hulu cut my feed of the Oscars broadcast before the Best Actress and Best Picture awards were given, so I missed those reveals. I don't think Hulu should be allowed to carry a live event ever again

Sutro Tower, 2018. Drones are so cool, I love aerial photography, and San Francisco is such a beautiful location to film/photograph

I feel like there’s this inversion in America where someone like David Lynch is always seen as an outsider artist, yet his vision of America was more truthful and authentic to our lives here than so so much of mainstream successful culture.

Oh no, I just read that David Lynch passed away. What a loss, he was a true master of the cinema, and such a funny and charismatic guy. Blue Velvet and Mulholland Drive were so impactful to me as a young cinephile, I’ll remember them forever

With more functionality, power (presumably) and size, they should have called it Super Nintendo Switch. Seems like a missed opportunity. But having worked at IGN for 7 years I know gamers love numbers in titles/names so it’s probably smart that Nintendo is calling it Switch 2

The images and video I'm seeing coming out of LA are absolutely heartbreaking. These fires are visions of a nightmare, purely apocalyptic. Stay safe, LA friends and denizens. You're all in my thoughts right now. If anyone is lucky enough to be away like I am, do what you can to help the situation

A Complete Unknown is a phenomenal film, one of the best of the year for me. James Mangold beautifully captures the essence of one of the most timeless and iconic figures in all of music history. Beautifully shot, impeccably acted, a portrait of a film true to Bob Dylan himself
