I’m in England, in a field of Barley. Today, I’m going to collect wild yeast under that tree back there, and I’m going to show how to feed and grow it until it’s ready to bake with. We are going to start at the very beginning, and end at the end.

Early yesterday morning, a drone struck the center of Chernihiv in northern Ukraine—damaging a building and rupturing a gas line, leaving families without heat. Within an hour, WCK was providing hot drinks, water, and food to residents gathered in a safe, warm space near the blast. #ChefsForUkraine

This is personally heartbreaking for me, to see my beautiful, beloved, brave baby effectively sacrificed on the altar of Copilot.

Xbox was struggling already due to many factors, some exogenic and others self-inflicted. But there’s a difference between negligence and abandonment. It’s very sad, and my heart goes out to everyone who believed in Xbox, who bet on it, who loved it, and for whom it meant something important. 💚❤️

I hate that negativity gets all the amplification by social media algorithms.

Let’s amplify LOVE instead.

I am beaming love at you. Right now.

Fuck the haters. I defy you. I am beaming extra love right into your face. Relax and be loved.

My television runs on Android and what a sorry, amateur, horrid experience it delivers. I assume they get away with this only because most consumers are trained to expect it to suck. Fucking thing just needs to switch inputs and it garbage collects like it’s processing global transactions for Visa.

It’s hard for me to hate them. They probably have no budget. They work in UI at a TV company. Yuck. And realistically nowadays it’s probably one guy contracting from somewhere with low wage laws getting yelled at by idiot executives to make copilot prompts. It’s all on a greased slide to purgatory.

The best part is when the POWER BUTTON has a multi-second delay so that everyone who uses it goes through several cycles of turning it back off again whilst waiting for it to show it’s on, and 50-80% *check to see if it’s plugged in.* HOW DOES THAT PASS QA?

About their leader with the famous face?
Will you tell them that the reason nothing ever grows

By 2040, ~40% of the images from Hubble Space Telescope, and more than 96% from new and future space telescopes like SPHEREx, ARRAKIHS, and Xuntian will be contaminated by internet satellite constellations.

Tragically, this decipherment was only necessary because of a one-man Spanish Inquisition, a deliberate, decades-long campaign by a single Catholic priest, Diego de Landa, to destroy the Mayan language & culture.

The priest, Diego de Landa, wiped out all knowledge of the written language, and nearly destroyed the spoken language too.

I am so enormously thankful for essentially every person I know and have ever met, and for everything they have taught and given to me. The good, the bad, and the unspeakable. It all counts. The trick is to remember to pay that debt forward to everyone you meet from now on. ❤️
