I think I've abandoned my website for long enough. I might go for a short story this week instead of commenting on something that already exists.

Must say, while I'm definitely excited for my next step in life, this last week at my current employer is feeling very melancholy. Working at a startup is so much more personal than working at a larger, established corporate.

It's sad, but I'm going to stop donating to Gofundme campaigns. No matter how many times I make sure all marketing/comms are unselected I STILL get spam and campaign updates.
I don't have the emotional bandwidth for that shit, which is why I opt out. Now, I'll just no longer donate at all.

My Rating ★★★ Note: 3 stars means it's good. It means the plot, writing, and characters are well done. 3 stars is what I expect from a book. For something to reach 4 or 5 stars it needs to change my life in some way. (Very Short) Story Summary Not-so-secret witch Mika Moon takes on an au pairing job to a trio of young girls who need to learn to manage their out-of-control magic before the family solicitor makes a visit, lest he find out that they are, in fact, witches.

Hello World
True to my "act first, think later" nature, I woke up one day and decided to purchase a domain (which I pronounce as "Seale-ee-oh") without knowing entirely what I want to put on it. I do know I'd like to go for a digital garden vibe, so consider this the first seed. When I was a child I wanted to be a writer, but my parents had sacrificed a lot to send me to a private school so becoming a writer instead of pursuing a "stable" career would be a "waste".
