Just culturally that's probably not even possible in the West. I've repeatedly said but we need is market socialism. We need a social democracy that encourages cooperatives and unions. The cooperatives and unions are the means social democracy is not the end.

You know like anarchism is my ideal it has been for years but the world as it exists now based upon the material conditions as they exist now it's simply not good enough to say oh I'm an anarchist. I certainly have libertarian socialist leaning in a lot of ways but I accept that the Chinese model

These structures do not come from God. There was no basis in believing in the inherent superiority of our systems of government.

Might there be a structural within Democratic frameworks that can lead to a more streamlined ability to do oversight to change to modify to fix problems that doesn't require authoritarianism? That might in fact be utopian.
