Yeah this is a recurring issue in most any aspect of neuroscience is the researchers themselves are either gunshy of putting forward any politics whatsoever, or they’re fucking dorks.

This is something I think about a lot. There’s been some neuroscience research coming out that leftist have exceptional theory of mind and perspective taking abilities but poor empathy response (on average obviously)
