Absolutely gut wrenching. My great grandfather, Arthur Edwards, Lancashire Fusiliers ‘Salford Lads’ survived seven of the most grueling battles of WWI including the Somme, he came home injured with amnesia.
Only to be killed in a hit and run while walking home from the pub on New Years Eve 1936.
