All of these are from my Red vs. Blue fanfic, "The Long Road Home," which I've been working on since 2017! I've grown a LOT since I first started making illustrations for it! ^-^

Moved a log to get a better look at the decomp on it and found this fella underneath. It made a few mock strikes at me while I snapped a pic, then I dropped some leaves on it to help it feel less exposed.

Ok this post better sums up my feelings. I literally NEVER repost screenshots, but this one was really well-written.
and also like yeah this guy was a disgusting excuse for a worthwhile human being and he absolutely had a major hand in the progress of fascism in america. but like. even as we are laughing we need to keep in mind that this was a complete, complex human being who had some corner of his heart, however tiny and disused, that was decent. if we push that out of mind, if we simply reduce these people to targets, we will become too quick and thoughtless in our assessments of violence, and that will always take you to a very bad place. it will cause people to do stupid things, to over-expose themselves, to take dumb risks, to push things that ought not be pushed. keeping the humanity of these people in mind is a tactical and strategic necessity. we cannot allow ourselves to forget the weight of the loss of even a single human life, how it will evoke responses from others. particularly so we do not allow ourselves to think we're fundamentally different from people who enact evil in our lives. so, laugh, as i am, but remember this was a man even if we all think we're better off with him dead. I'm just concerned to see how some people are getting enthusiastic about this, and the prospect of broader violence, without knowing or understanding anything about that world. we need to be really careful and we need to not lose ourselves. or lose sight of how this may hurt us. or how this may even be rhetorically useful for the regime.

She wears a high-collared sleeveless purple robe that extends to her ankles. The flanks of the robe are a darker purple that are outlined in silver, with the outline breaking the flank into chevrons vertically, all the way to the bottom of the robe. The hems and clasps of her robe are silver. She wears a dark purple belt with 7 pouches, three on each hip and one in the back. Her boots are the same color with darker soles. She wears a dark grey undersuit with techy elements. Her chest plate is iridescent white with silver flanks, and looks like tentacles extending from the bottom of her ribs towards her shoulders. In the middle is a black divet with a turquoise eye gleaming out. the back of her chest plate houses a diamond-shaped radiolaria tank. Her bond looks like tentacles wrapped around her arm, and her gauntlets are similar to her chest plate, with tentacles splitting to reveal an eye in the middle.
