I understand everyone's struggling right now, so don't worry if you can't chip in. I am trying to do what I can on my end, even without food stamps.

This isn't a matter of me losing my apartment, at least - my lease is up on December 19th. I just need to make sure my bills are paid, I don't owe rent, and that I can pay the down payment on my next place to live.

The anime aren't a direct retelling - they're related, but tell different stories (sometimes with different characters). The manga and novels, i can't say for sure.
developed by CyberConnect2, who also made a bunch of anime games (including Kakarot) and the Fuga series, so there's that.

the only real issue is that the first four games have never been rereleased and most of them are prohibitively expensive. there's definitely people who want it!
also there's a japan-only ps2 online game that has fan servers still running today. and the characters show up in the Project X Zone games

it's a weird little franchise that hasn't gotten a new release since 2017 (which was a remaster (of the sequel!) even) and has pretty much been replaced by Sword Art Online, which is pretty much the same idea.
i know this is about games but there's much, much more within the franchise.
