What I learned from visiting Iceland and the NL, human eyes don’t see enough. Get your (digital) cameras out. Look with both. Long exposure captures more light than our eyes. Other cameras can do it too but digital is easier and probably in your pocket/hand.

My point is: JUST TRY. Get your phone camera (or fancier) and try.

I live in NC. And all over NC is showing different NL views.

I took this by pointing my phone’s camera NorthWestish. Right out my front door is North. I turned my porch light off but obviously could not do anything about the light-noise of the Small City Burbs.

The year Thanksgiving and Hanukkah overlapped, I was done before 10/15. The kids were also younger and easier.

And this is on average, Late. But kid2 is difficult.
