Because they don't want them to switch to the GOP caucus and eliminate what little chance there is of retaking the chamber. It's clear that fetterman, for example, would be just as comfortable with an r as a d behind his name.

They’ve been trying to blow up the ACA for over a decade, yet they don’t have viable plan to replace it.
They don’t have anything to make it better because they don’t want to make it better.
What they want is the ACA gone and everyone at the mercy of private insurance again.

I bet they will loosen the requirements of businesses to offer healthcare benefits too, going to the plans that are glorified medical savings accounts or exempting large numbers of employees. They will move as close to "the lessers need to work until they die, and die faster" as they can.

How a flawed idea is teaching millions of kids to be poor readers
For decades, schools have taught children the strategies of struggling readers, using a theory about reading that cognitive scientists have repeatedly debunked. And many teachers and parents don't kno...

The insurance companies already get those $$$. They want GOP to kill ACA's pesky regulations, like covering prexisting conditions, thereby fattening the stacks of profit. The value to the GOP is that what they will really do is kill all govt subsidy so they can cut taxes for wealthy donors.

Trump could control healthcare prices and cut off rotten insurance. Instead of paying insurance, employers pay all that $ into a big fund. When anyone needs healthcare, they get it, no cash needed. The hospital/doc requests payment from this one big fund. The fund then pays a reasonable rate. ;)
