As soon as I heard Tata was returning to Atlanta I figured he'd get the band back together. Josef was good in SJ and seems like a great dude and teammate, but they needed someone who can press and defend as well as score goals. I would be shocked if he doesn't play for Atlanta next season.

Was thinking about this - it's literally ALL 18 LigaMX teams, even the weakest ones, with basically MLS's top 18 teams, give or take. So MLS's better teams should take out the weaker LigaMX's teams. Some outliers for sure.

100% Minnesota is always a problem for the Quakes. Super frustrating-I was thinking that Fisher investing in Bruce Arena, Chicho, JM, etc is to spruce up the team to sell it. Maybe a shiny new DP & top 6 playoff position would make the team even more valuable in the short term. but what do I know...

Awesome. My home USL team almost took you guys out! I wish I could say that they carried that confidence into the rest of their regular season that year, but it did not! USL is like watching college basketball - glimpses of brilliance with lots of errors and misses. Ex MLS with some NCAA stars...

I was at a Monterey Bay (California) FC USOC match 2 yrs ago (my home team) - we'd beaten the SJ Earthquakes for a cupset. LAFC, as the reigning MLS cup champions, had a bye to meet the winner of that game. MBFC took LAFC to 2 overtimes/penalties, down to like the 18th penalty. Never say die. 😜

And he did it in WAY fewer games! That's pretty amazing. Hope he gets a few more braces and hat tricks! They should let him take penalties to crush Landon Donovan's record. :)
