when people say "check your privilege" and "use your privilege" this is one of those things you should use your privilege to do. When BIPOC are assertive they are seen as aggressive, when white people are assertive people listen. So when you speak and assert use it to defend marginalized groups.

i truly dont care anymore. the way you think is regressive. i wear dresses and skirts, i am not a girl, i am not going to assume you are by default if i see you wearing this. i will ask you your pronouns if im in a queer space, idfc.

its not even an isolated incident, it happens constantly. its fucking weird

i dont care if it wasnt meant as so. impact over intent. when i meet with people irl and they assume im trans masc, or a trans man, or a woman, or my pronouns, thats weird full stop. im an open book. i have my carrd, my profile, etc. i even state my pronouns and identity. still misgendered.

I think it's one thing to complain, everyone has a right to complain. but no one has a right to continue the cycle of hurt by demanding assumption. It is transphobic, it is just full on transphobia. I don't understand how it's NOT transphobia to misgender me on purpose by my appearance.

and i would be oh so delighted if people used my neo pronouns. it causes me pain and dysphoria when my own community act like cis people and then be wildly transphobic to me.
