A few days since I deleted my X account and it’s bliss. I can still follow people for edu blogs, and on Bluesky, but without all the binary disparaging nonsense (missing a few sports people though, but I am not MIA scrolling either).

Good luck to Headteachers and staff who are awaiting the release of KS4 results from midnight. So much out of schools’ control with such variable attendance but so much worry and stress 🤞🏻🤞🏻

As I sit here with rising annual anxiety, I am really hoping that school and trust leaders can celebrate pupils’ achievements on Thursday without celebrating their schools’ comparative position to others in, what is after all, a zero-sum game. Fingers crossed for pupils and staff in all schools.
