How cold was your house? We fortunately seem to be quite mould-free so far.

It's a system boiler so the pump is separate. But yeah, we do get that downstairs. The heating engineer said the water is also returning to the boiler too hot, which is a sign that it's not making it through the radiators properly...?

Yeah we'd like to get one at some point but it's a little down the priority list at the moment. At the rate we're getting through our house jobs, we'll be buying one in about 2075.

A chicken and chorizo rice dish. I think the rice was shite: 40 min cooking and it was partly under and partly over.

It's a relatively new boiler but it doesn't do a great job at getting the whole house hot.
Apparently the pump is underpowered.

Are you telling me you'd do me a heat pump for that money?

A heat pump for £770?! That would be a bargain.

Oh literally nothing exciting. A more powerful pump 😂.

Mostly upgrading the pump to a more powerful one. Apparently the current one isn't strong enough to get the hot water round the system properly.
Plus a chemical flush and replacing a valve that's apparently just the wrong type.

I don't know what your toilet is like (obviously) but I felt like I need an engineering degree just to understand how to go about starting to remove the old one.
