Accidentally broke LinkedIn's Crossclimb puzzle ("change one letter at a time to form a chain of words" game). Final goal words = "synonym for agreement". Lead-in words were "pack" and "dear" - so real answer is "pact" and "deal". I tried "pace" (Latin-derived) and "hear" (like "Hear hear!").

My book club did the Spider-Verse movies last night. More than half the people weren't comic-book fans nor superhero-movie watchers. At one point, somebody asked "do you think the writers sat down a couple times and asked 'hey, what makes something a Spider-Man story?'"

I'm using Cirq from Google and trying to read the #quantum circuit diagrams. What's the box-drawing character for? The hat and bucket notation just above and below the rest of the circuit. "┌──┐"?
