Not the weapon that Brenner saw her as. In what could be his last moments, he let's her know that she is a person. Not a science experiment or tool for the military. She's a human being, his daughter, and he loves her.

Directly see him calling her Jane for the first time in the whole series is the type of incredibly powerful and touching writing that I love in this show. He affirms what's always been true that even though he's a very closed off man, he's still able to express that he sees her for who she is and-

Part of the appeal of say, K-Pop Demon Hunters, for example, is it came the fuck out of nowhere, which makes it fucking ludicrous when they use it as an example as what other animated films "should" do, but also studios learning the wrong thing from its success as usual
