Yup, can't think of any other sport where things like that are marked by fans. Not just the major events, but the local tragedies of a young fan passing that unites rival supporters. This was at Crewe on Saturday:

Desperately sad to hear Johnnie Walker has died. Although we knew it was coming with his illness and recent retirement it's still a shock. Strange that I'm feeling so sad at the death of someone I've never met, almost as if he were family. Been a listener for 50 years though so in a way he was.
