I totally agree. Awareness and understanding is key. Also realising that girls are much better at masking and copying so are often lost in the system. I hope your children get the support to navigate our overstretched education system.

I work at a specialist school for autistic students so I know the battle parents have to get a diagnosis. Those traits for a 2 year old are not as an unusual as you think. I can only assume they have gone down the private route and wish them well. Hope they don’t keep parading her out, though.
