I was not a fan of the Laine signing at the time and said as much. I would not be counting on Laine when making moves for the #Habs in 2025 and beyond.

Slafkovsky should be made to sit down and watch video of every game Brady Tkachuk has ever played. Then he should be forced to start shaping his game to play that way. Too slow, too much gliding and reaching, refuses to shoot the puck consistently or use his body effectively. #Habs

How is it Ottawa can line up billions in projected support for those who might be affected by US tariffs, yet we couldn't take that same investment and put it towards our 2% of GDP obligation with NATO? Clearly we need to finally start taking our defence seriously in #Canada.

Given the way things are going with #Trump and the #USA perhaps it's time we Canadians boycott @timhortonsofficial.bsky.social. The quality of their product has nosedived since the sale to primarily US corporate interests, yet they portray themselves to be Canadian at every turn.

At what point do Canadians get a comment from our King regarding the current rhetoric of Donald Trump? We are part of the British Commonwealth are we not? What exactly is the point if our King can't take a public stance about annexation threats by an aggressive neighbour?

USA brings Hutson & Buium and we bring Bonk & Dickinson. Hutson most dangerous player on the ice while Dickinson looks sloppy and Bonk is underwhelming at best. Throw in the selfish, undisciplined play of Cowan, Rehkopf and Pinelli and it's as flawed a Canadian roster as I've seen at World Juniors.

Just once I'd like to see @hockeycanada.bsky.social select the top offensive players deserving a spot on Team Canada's World Junior Team. Is it possible these elite offensive players could conjure up the ability to defend in their own end, kill penalties or win a key face-off if asked to do so?

Why am I impatient regarding the Canadiens icing the best possible lineup right now? I think they can make the playoffs in an eastern conference that lacks quality depth, and as we saw when they got in after finishing 12th in the east, anything can happen once you're in. Go for it.
