Finally getting through the mystery bug and my mother reminded me that in this liminal space — finding my feet but far from 100% — is where the most important healing happens. I have a jump on it, but I cannot hurry the process, or I’ll just scramble back and forth for the rest of winter. A lesson.

Someone on NPR is saying that TikTok was honestly built on a structure of social shopping; but we took it and made it a strange beautiful community. And that feels like a reminder that nature will always transcend, even if only in the longest run.
