I feel like we've evolved past graffiti and it's now street art; especially for more extensive works like these. But, in my book they're all subsets of MicroMessaging.

Great murals! Yeah, some artists really go all out. It's very cool. And this particular set I posted is 15 years ago. They're from a part of Williamsburg Brooklyn that is rapidly gentrifying.
