if reasonably possible: never go home, avoid home for fear of getting abducted, or your wife and kid being abducted. just never go home again. be stressed and worrisome about that fact, because home is nostalgia

Thinking about the 1969 Piazza Fontana bombing and how Italy's security services blamed it on anarchists, arrested nearly 100 activists and threw one of them out the 4th floor window of the police station.

The bombing was carried out by a neo-fascist group with ties to the state security services.

"I think it's worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights. That is a prudent deal. It is rational. Nobody talks like this. They live in a complete alternate universe."

This is way way worse even than the NYT article makes it out to be

OpenAI absolutely deserves to be run out of business

unpopular stance: ACAB includes Scully but not Mulder, because there's absolutely no way Fox Mulder understands what the law really is or that his job is to enforce it. he has less capacity for moral cognition than a K9 unit.

"dei medal" you might as well just put "n*gger medal" because that's what they mean to say
This is blood-boiling. Charles Rogers was awarded the Medal of Honor in Vietnam after being wounded three times leading the defense of a position.

Google his name and the entry below comes up. When you click, you'll see the page has been deleted and the URL changed to include "DEI medal."

it is a strange thing to do something intense that you've not done for a long time; it is like a mirror into your mind as it was twenty years ago. except now with wisdom comes also the little pangs of mortality
