Those plastic bellow style plungers tend to crack after a while. The rubber also makes a much better seal, while keeping it's original shape much longer. And the t-grip on this bad-boy really adds some extra torque to the whole process.

So, "wolf spider" is the general name for a huge family of spiders. A lot of biodiversity in that family.
If you're able to take a closer look at Cornbready, you can confirm they're a wolf spider by their eyes. If they have two large eyes surrounded by 6 small ones, then wolf is almost guaranteed.
