Well now. This a confusing jumble of a book. It is also an imaginative, inventive tour de force with memorable characters. 100% SF with many typically fantasy-esque elements. A tale of love, friendship and 11-dimensional transcendent beings that might as well be gods. 🪐📚💙#scifibooks #sciencefiction

Bagged a few books on tour of Shrewsbury today, including this signed John Meaney with a fab Jim Burns cover. He's an author a viewer mentioned to me a couple of weeks ago that I'd never heard of. First of a trilogy, I now need the other 2, similarly clad in Burns artwork. 🪐📚💙 #scifibooks
Finished this yesterday. It's a better book than RS I think, and there was more continuity of character than I remembered. Hell Weapons, relentless Inhibitors using a star as a weapon, a planetary evacuation, space battles. The good stuff. 🪐📚💙 #scifibooks #sciencefiction #nowreading #spaceopera
