Oh, cool. I worked on SGU and have many fond memories of the experience so I'm excited to see what comes through the Stargate next.

With #LPSC2025 about to start, it's time to share what I've been working on during the last months and will be presenting at the conference.
This is a new high resolution 3D model of the Mont Mercou outcrop in Gale crater, that I made during my recent internship at LPG Nantes. #planetsci 🧵

This!
We are here.
(Someone else already did this, but it's a good enough idea I'm repeating it. I'm not taking credit for thinking of it, though.)

Hmmm 🤔
Fascinating finding: animo acids, the building blocks of life, have been found on asteroids

However on Earth, they're almost all left-handed; on asteroids, left and right-handed variants appear in equal amounts

This will help to determine how life developed on earth

I will never cease to be amazed by books. Seriously. Just think about it; thousands of people read the same book, but in everyone’s brain’s the characters look different, the setting changes etc. We are all reading the same thing, but it's so unique to each of us.
That is a beautiful thing.

#PPOD: NASA's Mariner 10 spacecraft captured this seemingly peaceful view of a planet the size of Earth, wrapped in a dense, global cloud layer. But contrary to its serene appearance, Venus's clouded globe is a world of intense heat, crushing atmospheric pressure, and clouds of corrosive acid. 🧪 🔭
