Meanwhile, here’s a photo I took of the Crescent Nebula (top) floating in a cosmic cloud of red hydrogen alpha gas about 5000 light years away in the constellation Cygnus. It’s shaped by a powerful Wolf-Rayet star, one of the hottest types in the universe.
