Back to working on the latest CITADEL level, and in a bit of a breakthrough, it's now possible to ascend about two thirds of the tower in something at least vaguely resembling fluid gameplay 😂 Still lots of work left to do, though!

Game 20/25: Landstalker - The Treasures of King Nole
My, what a trip down nostalgia lane that was! As I've said before: Still one of my favourite Mega Drive/Genesis games& easily one of the platform's best action adventures. Still holds up! Also surprisingly available if you want to give it a try!

Playing through Landstalker again, in the wake of its 33rd birthday, and I love it every bit as much as I did back then: It's gorgeous, funny, more than a little finicky at times, and the closest 16bit SEGA ever came to producing a "Zelda Killer". Always bring enough EkeEke!

Game 18/2025: "Nobody Wants To Die"
I love #Cyberpunk, so this was a bit of a no brainer. While the gameplay was more than a little sketchy at times, the excellent vibe and stunning vistas carried me all the way through this! Such a clever idea, to re-import classic Noir back into Cyberpunk, too! 😉

Game 18/2025: "Nobody Wants To Die"

To all who are - justifiably - crazy about the FFTactics Remaster right now: Don't sleep on Tactics Ogre, which turns 30 today! "Tactics Ogre Reborn" has just about everything that makes Tactics so great (minus the Chocobos) & with an - arguably even better - story by @yazzmat.bsky.social
