For the last few years right wing social media has been saturated with misinfo saying that every mass shooter has been trans. Despite claiming to believe this, they weren’t galvanized til a trans shooter actually happened. Makes me doubt that they believe the conspiracy theories they spread

Charlie Kirk chose to be an existential threat to innocent people. It’s people like him or people like us. I don’t want to hear about how it’s sad that he didn’t win his own vicious ultimatum.

As a trans gun owner, I don’t love all of the advocacy for trans gun ownership following the “ban.” Suicide is our biggest threat. Owning a firearm is THE factor that determines whether a suicidal person survives. For anyone with a recent history ideation, gun ownership is almost never worth it

Boys Don’t Cry is one of the most hateful movies that I’ve ever seen. I believe that the director was trying to be empathetic, but it’s staggeringly cruel. I’ve had multiple trans men tell me that they delay their transition for years after watching it.

It’s weird how companies are harvesting personal data. Yet, whenever I’ve worked with companies catching insurance fraudsters, the data reports are absolutely garbage. They often get addresses wrong. If you don’t have public social media tied to your name, your insurer won’t know what you look like

Finally done with Jax’s aromatic cedar frame. I brought her portrait to her vigil and found that people wanted to touch it. So, I carved the frame to be comforting to touch. Plus the grooves help hide my awful joinery skills

Been playing with wood engraving. I glued some maple. Blocks together and I even “forged” my own bruin tool. I’m pretty happy with how it’s coming out! It’s similar to carving lino, but with potentially much more detail
