As someone whose daily driver is a Miata I'm all for more small cars, but it's not an accident that kei cars would not pass any existing safety regulations in the US 😂

What the actual fuck

The EPA is starting to allow the use of pesticides containing PFAS on food.

The move is part of an effort to roll back the regulation of what are called "forever chemicals" because they don't break down easily in the environment.

Finished slamming through the new Hyrule Warriors and it's an interesting experience. If I were to compare it to the original Hyrule Warriors (and particularly Definitive of that one) I'd argue that this is a much worse Musou but a wildly better _game_.

I get that the Linux distro is a lot more mature this go around, but I fail to see how Steam Machines V2 is any more of a mass market machine. Steam Deck sales are not putting a dent in Switch 2 and I expect the same will be seen with PS5. Glad it’s happening but confused by the hype.

Pretty sure I still have a Gigabyte Brix and pre-release Steam controller from about 2012 when they tried this last time.

Unsurprisingly, the Democrats that caved already lost all their leverage.
Senate Republicans say they’re open to extending a pot of Affordable Care Act funds that will expire at the end of the year — but only if Democrats acquiesce to stricter abortion restrictions on insurance plans.
Republicans demand tougher abortion restrictions to extend Obamacare funds
Democrats say that’s a nonstarter, arguing there are already limits on abortion access. The dispute could torpedo a deal, leading to higher health insurance premiums for millions.

How about we shut down the government for this very popular and specific goal and then, hear me out, we hold out for like a month and a half and then, ok this part is important, after a watershed election where we ran the table, ONLY THEN, fold and don't get the one thing we said we wanted.

Is that a promise?
Johnson: "If they had no filibuster, they would pack the SCOTUS. You'd go from 9 to 17 or however many liberals they could pack. You would make DC & Puerto Rico into states, which would give 4 additional Democrat senators & make us a permanent minority. You'd see massive restrictions of 2A rights"

I had to panic move all my chiles inside the garage to avoid the first frost tonight, and boy let me tell you moving a couple thousand pounds of _plant_ was not on my Friday to-do list.

Got to the credits of Pokemon Legends Z/A, and boy does this show a path forward for the series. It's a bit rough of a game overall, but the combat was _wonderful_.

Microsoft no commenting the use of Halo by DHS is some unsurprising shit. Add it to the list of things where they are tripping over their own dick.

Nothing says let's revitalize Halo like dipping into CE for a 4th time instead of moving the series forward.

Anyone following me done the Takezo fight in Ghost of Yotei? I've got a weird interaction where I cannot parry the first attack after reviving w/ spirit and I'm trying to figure out if it's a bug or a timing quirk where you aren't given control quick enough to actually _do_ the parry.
