Utilizing the machines left behind by our Clone Trooper fathers we will wage war against the creature that has interrupted the peace of mind and safety of those who sheltered them. Welcome to Dermos Based in the Outer Rim, Dermos is a semi-hostile planet with diverse ecosystems and tough wild life. One year ago, a massive creature fell from the sky; destroying our way of life. We repelled it then but barely. Over the past year, we have worked with others, preparing the defenses of our homes and tuning the machines our parents left behind. You will fight, struggle and possibly die to protect those who let you in. ---- Dermos’ Plea is an upcoming Actual Play mini-series with Taleslinger Zach Walsh that will utilize HOME, a map making, kaiju combat game. Set in the Star Wars 'Path of the Fates' Universe (a Tales From the Table Studios actual play series), Dermos’ Plea is a side story taking place between Star Wars Episodes 6 and 7 where parts of the past reemerge to be a haunting reminder that what has happened before will come back to remind us. The series focuses on a group of young adults, children of Clone Troopers who broke their inhibitor chips and managed to escape Order 66. Landing on Dermos, they were taken into various villages and settlements where they stripped their Clone Trooper gear and put down roots, even if only briefly. These young adults will take up the weapons of their fathers to defend the settlements that they create from a series of monstrous incursions against them. As the game involves map making, some level of drawing will be made. HOME focuses on world-building between fights and as such the first live session will be about designing your home.
