It is i-mutation caused by the ergative suffix in alun (-i). It is not productive, all nouns coined after the initial sound change do not have this feature, with only a few irregular exceptions through analogy, ex: táf (which was loaned after the sound change) having its erg form be téf.

The only kind of "inflection" there is in ullalk is that some nouns nucleus will undergo mutation in the ergative due to historic sound changes, leaving this as the only trace in the entire language of its historically extensive case system.

among some of the aspectual distinctions in Ullalk are the Imperfective, Perfective, perfect, prospective, progressive, and continuative.

Through word order and particles it can distinguish from the cases it historically had, such as the GEN, DAT, and INSTR, but it does not inflect for these cases onto nouns anymore.

thank you! I'm a big fan of your alphabet!!!

the only interesting thing about it is that it has majuscule and minuscule letters which eventually turn into the voiced/unvoiced pairs in the Krydic languages. Ullalk, I imagine, would just abandon the majuscule letters as it does not need them.

Ullalk's transcription isn't that interesting, it's just the ipa where applicable to a standard keyboard + vowels with accutes when stressed in multisyllabic words and some digraphs to cover what the ipa doesn't.

And here is the evolution of ciyyi! It evolved from a logographic script into an alphabet, over many thousands of years~ (3/3)
